• Weigh in will begin at 2:00 p.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017. No
exceptions. Weigh station will be at the First Lady Pavilion, Texas City Dike. Pavilion is on the left
after you drive over the levee. The dike does not charge an entry fee at this time of year.
• Fish must be weighed in by the participant who originally caught the fish and must be in the
participant’s physical possession in the weigh-in line.
• When bringing the fish to the weigh station Participants must tell the weigh master who the fish
belongs to in advance of weighing the fish.
• Any artificially weighted or preserved fish will be disqualified and those participants will forfeit any
entry or other tournament fees.
• Fish must be maintained in edible condition. Fish that have been frozen, gutted, or mutilated will not
be eligible and the participant attempting to weigh in a fish such as that will be disqualified. All fish
are subject to inspection by the Tournament Director.
• Although it is legal to retain a redfish over 28 inches, for the purpose of this tournament, the
fish must be between 20 and 28 inches.
• Tournament scale and ruler are the only tournament approved instruments.
• In the event of a tie in weight, participant’s names will be pulled from a hat to decide the winner.
• The length of each fish weighed in will be recorded and in the event of a non-repairable scale
malfunction during the weigh-in winners will be determined based on length.
• All bag, slot, length, and daily limits must be followed according to State and Local regulations.
• Sportsmanship, courtesy, safety, and conservation are expected from every participant.
• All waste and refuse must be cleaned up before leaving the fishing area and put in waste receptacles.
